Some days you just need to pull a little something together, but you don’t have a lot of time to make every part of the gift. Normally I’d make a box or something if I was giving cookies to someone, but I didn’t have the time so I used a couple of disposable small food containers I found at The Daiso, two tags, clear cellophane and some sheer ribbon (all items I had on hand) and came up with the following:
Yes, that’s washi tape on the containers, but if I had to do it over again I wouldn’t use the washi tape and just use some Scotch tape or cellophane tape to hold it closed because the washi tape just didn’t stick all that well to this particular container.
The sentiments were from a sheet that came with an issue of Creative Stamping magazine from the UK (which I bought at Barnes & Noble) and the background dots is a stamp from Impress in Seattle. I usually use Memento inks, but the “All my love” was stamped using a Hero Arts Ombré pad.
The tags took me only five to ten minutes to do, including the edging which was done by dragging a Memento Dew Drop across the edge at an angle.
And yes, the cookies are homemade. Like I’m going to give supermarket cookies as a gift!
