Coloring: Polar Bears

Yes, polar bears are white. That doesn’t mean you should leave them uncolored. Here I demonstrate how I did a little coloring of a polar bear before making a card using the image. I only used three pencils: Ivory and two warm grays. As I mention in the video, if you would prefer to use cool grays instead, go for it!

I wish you could still get that string of Christmas lights stamp that I used. Lockhart Stamp Company made it and although some of her images are with Pink Ink now, it looks like the holiday borders are retired. I’m so disappointed.

Anyway, try adding a little shading to your coloring! Start light and then darken as you go. you might be surprised by the result.
