Today’s card was my attempt at using Tim Holtz Distress markers as watercolors since I’ve seen him demonstrate this on YouTube but hadn’t ever tried it. To be honest, I didn’t care for the way this came out. Ink doesn’t behave in the same way that watercolor pigment so it’s not quite the effect I wanted. Still, overall, I like the way this turned out. The note card is from Impress in a discontinued color called Juniper and the dye ink I used for the stippling and the edging on the stamped area is from an old Tsukineko line called Impress in Bottle Green and Chartreuse. As you can tell, pads last a long, long time.
