12 Cards of Christmas #8


This was a “scrap folder” card in that the background and strip of candy stripe paper were taken from a folder I keep of scraps that I had left over from a previous project. The cardstock is from Impress as well, but it’s old and uses a color called “Juniper” which is from when Dave Brethauer used to work for Impress.

The Impress Outline Ornaments make another appearance and this time I used actual watercolor paint which seemed to work out better, but I’m still no expert at it. The background was added with a stipple brush and the watercolor paper was cut using the rounded corner square layer dies from Memory Box Open Studio that I mentioned earlier.
