Finally broke out the heat gun

Ages ago I purchased a jar of Rose Gold embossing powder. The jar says Lawn Fawn on it, but most embossing powders come from a single manufacturer and are just repackaged by the rubber stamp companies and branded with that company’s information. At least that’s what I was told by a retailer. If anybody else knows the facts, please feel free to correct me.

But I haven’t embossed anything in well… I have no idea, to be honest, so when I saw the jar again today I thought, “Where’s my heat gun. I need to try this out.” So I picked out some dark paper, stamped a word stamp with Versamark ink and then embossed with the rose gold. The fact that the smaller letters are still readable is nice to see. Since this was a test I didn’t use any anti-static powder, and you can see that there are a few stray grains of powder that got left behind.

The stamp is from Impression Obsession, and I adore the sentiment. It’s just fun. Anyway, I will be embossing more things in future.
